Are you looking for an auction to participate
in this spring? Gather your friends and make plans to attend
We Care Arts’ annual Spring Auction on Friday, March 10 at the Presidential
Banquet Center. The fun-filled evening will feature a terrific dinner, and a
silent auction with dozens of fabulous gift baskets from which to choose.
This year’s live auction will include a chance to bid
on a beautiful rug, designed by Kenna Seabrook, a WCA high school client from
Stivers High School and created by Bockrath Flooring. Kenna
had the winning design selected by the Bockrath team!
Gina, the skilled rug
artisan, created this amazing custom rug using Kenna's beautiful design. This
gorgeous rug will be on display at Town & Country Shopping Center until March 10th, the day of We Care Arts Spring Auction. Bockrath made a smaller version of the rug
to give to Kenna, she was excited to receive the rug and will be putting it in
her room.
Do you remember reading one of the previous blogs last month regarding this exciting contest sponsored by Bockrath Flooring? In case you didn't see it yet, it explains the process of the contest and what happened last year. Here is the link to that blog for your review, http://wecarearts.blogspot.com/2017/01/up-coming-spring-auction-to-we-care-arts.html.
Last year, the auction raised over
$60,000, which helped over 1,400 adults and children with disabilities realize
their personal potential through art. Call We Care Arts at 937-252-3937 for
tickets and more information or go to our website at http://wecarearts.org/about-events.php.
